“Love was made for me and you.”
Zachary met Katherine at a baseball game, one fun summer night. Neither of them would have guessed that during a seemingly casual game of corn hole, they’d meet the future love of their lives… but that’s exactly what happened. Katie and Zach hit it off right away, and after talking, discovered that they actually lived in the same apartment building — one floor apart! Now, that’s the sort of meeting Nicolas Sparks writes about. Before they knew it, they were falling in love and moving to Colorado together to build their relationship. Their story is just the best… and so are they. Katie and Zach are the sort of couple that causes me to fall in love with my job over and over again.
Their wedding day at The Oaks was perfect, from start to finish. From the nautical details to the actual boat ride (!!) it was a beautiful day on the shore. Every person in attendance was thrilled for the bride and groom, and I don’t think there was a dry eye when Katie’s father walked her down the aisle (right, Zach?!) Other highlights from July 8th: a live band, late-night burgers and fries, a sparkler exit, and plenty of homemade details, like the cake topper, stitched by the mother of the bride. Anyway, I could go on and on… but I loved this special day! It turned out to be the largest wedding gallery I’ve ever delivered — and here are some examples of why:
