Amanda and Brett were married overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in picturesque Virginia. The setting was so charming and rustic, and I loved all the cozy log cabins! Staying in the mountains was so peaceful and relaxing, and photographing this sweet love story was the perfect day! I knew as soon as I met Brett and Amanda (view their engagement session here) that they are the real deal. True love. The stuff you hear about in stories and see in movies. Well, I was right. Their ceremony was so heartfelt and emotional. Amanda’s brother played a beautiful tribute to their father, and I will admit I teared up a little. How could you not?! You can tell how much Brett adores Amanda, and comforts her throughout all of life’s challenges, highs and lows. He just gets her.
Amanda and Brett, thank you so much for a wonderful weekend, one I won’t forget! I loved having the chance to get to know your kind, welcoming families, and celebrating with you! You guys, it was the dance party of the year, no doubt. I hope you treasure these photos for years to come… and I can’t wait to see you again soon! Enjoy your honeymoon!!
