This was such a fun backyard wedding!! Every detail was DIY, made and contributed by family and friends… and in some cases, the bride and groom. For example, Kayla arranged all of the florals herself… every last piece of greenery. Isn’t that amazing?! After photographing weddings for ten years, it’s rare that I get to experience a celebration so unique. Everything about Kayla and Garrett’s wedding felt new and different, and that was exciting for me! Highlights included: a gorgeous ceremony in the woods, frolicking in a field with horses, and photos in a vintage car. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
The sleeve details came from Kayla’s mother’s wedding gown.
