Well, this wedding was one I’ll always remember. Casey and Adam flew me to Scotland to photograph their big day, and it was incredible! Casey is from Maryland and Adam grew up in the U.K. Despite living on different continents, they fell in love. They chose to have their wedding at the Lodge on Loch Lomond in the beautiful village of Luss. There happens to be a pretty cool story behind that decision. Years ago, Casey traveled to Scotland with her family. They were walking along the pier by the lake and Casey turned around to see the lodge. She took out her camera and snapped a photo of the lodge, thinking, “I’ll never be here again… might as well take a picture.”
Fast forward several years and she and Adam were touring venues. Casey hadn’t looked at or thought of that picture in years… but when she walked by the same lodge again all those years later, it struck her. “I’ve been here before,” she told Adam in disbelief. So it only seemed fitting that it be the setting for their wedding! Photographing this lovely celebration was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. McCluskie!
