“You’re something else I can’t explain. You take my last name.”

I’ve always loved telling stories. My mom has stacks of notebooks, containing ‘novels’ I’d write when I was little (usually involving a unicorn as the main character). I studied English in college, because I fell in love with the way words can convey meaning. For me, photography has the same effect… but now I focus on the visual aspect of storytelling. It’s such a great feeling to know that I’m helping preserve memories like this, for two people in love!

Rachael and Kyle are sweet, charismatic, and so well-dressed! I was fawning over their outfit choices. Don’t they look like big city models?! Anyway, I digress. They chose historic Mt. Vernon as the backdrop for their engagement session, and man, it did not disappoint! I’m in love with cream-colored buildings and pretty architectural lines. Kyle met Rachael in his high school classroom, and seven years later, he proposed! I loved getting to know them, and can’t wait to photograph their wedding this May. Rachael and Kyle, thank you for letting me into your lives!
