It was an Earth Day wedding! Johanna and Daniel shared their vows on April 22nd and it was the most beautiful display of God’s love. I adore these two, ever since they flew me to Miami (!!!) for their engagement shoot. I knew right when I met them that Johanna and Daniel are really something special. Their relationship has covered multiple states, but no matter where they are in the U.S., they find a way to make their love last. Daniel is finishing medical school, and Johanna works for an organization that supplies clean water to people in need. If that doesn’t tell you how loving and giving these two are, I don’t know what will. They’re both so kind and gracious!!
On the day of their wedding, rain was in the forecast. We did all that we could to prepare, including using a cute, clear umbrella for portraits. Despite the misty weather, Johanna never stopped smiling! Not once. She was the epitome of “glowing bride,” and when Daniel saw her, nothing else– not even the dreary skies– mattered. They were getting married, and that’s what counted. Johanna and Daniel, thank you so much for including me in your special day, and for being so unbelievably welcoming to me, ever since I stepped off of the plane in Florida. Your friendship means so much to me! Enjoy your honeymoon in Costa Rica, and I hope you treasure these photos for the rest of your lives!!
