This is a special blog post for me, because this bride is one of my closest friends. Kaitlyn, who I’ve known since sixth grade and who, over recent years, has become so important in my life, got married!! I’m a firm believer that a marriage is infinitely more important than the wedding, and no worries there — because I know Mike and Kate are going to have the most beautiful marriage. Mike has been by Kaitlyn’s side for almost a decade, and has supported her through great times and also through some of the most devastating times. I can’t imagine a better person for my friend!

Now to talk about the amazing wedding day!! The weather was perfect and everything fell into place just as we all hoped it would! It’s always fun for me to be a part of any day where I know the family and friends, and it just feels so effortless and fun. I definitely teared up when Kate put on her dress… but can you blame me? She is so lovely, inside and out. Speaking of tears, Mike had one of the best ceremony reactions I’ve ever seen. I don’t think there was a dry eye in sight when she walked down the aisle.

I have so many favorite images from this day, but here are just a few. Mr. and Mrs. Harward, I hope you love these photos for the rest of your lives! I know I will.
