“It’s all to come, for now we’re still young.”
Well that’s it for 2016! I haven’t had time to blog much recently but I had to make sure I shared this wedding– not only was it my last of the season, but it features two of my sweetest friends! I’ve known Julie since our middle school days. We grew up in the same church, and survived the awkward teenage years together. Now we’re all grown up and she’s married!! I’m genuinely so happy for her, because all of her dreams are coming true– and Jimmy was worth the wait. Jimmy is one of the most thoughtful, gentle and kind guys I’ve ever met (not to mention hilarious). His care and love for Julie is so obvious, and it’s clear that God designed each of their lives with the other in mind.
Their wedding day started off with some weather concerns… there was a blanket of ice on everything! But somehow the snow stopped by mid-afternoon and it was perfect timing! They didn’t let the winter setting phase them one bit– because they were saying “I do” and that’s all that mattered. What struck me the most about this couple was the amount of LOVE surrounding them all day. Everyone was just so happy for Julie and Jimmy, and so am I. They deserve all of the happiness the world has to offer, starting with a straight-out-of-the-movies honeymoon to Paris at Christmas!! Thank you, J + J, for everything.
